Private label denim production with a 300-piece minimum, 4-6 week lead times and our own laundry — we take your tech pack and hand back shipment-ready goods.
Most sourcing enquiries start with the same three questions, so here are our answers before anything else:
In full package production we source the denim fabric and trims, develop the pattern, produce, wash, finish and pack. You approve a sample and receive finished goods. In CMT you supply fabric and trims and we cut, sew, wash and pack to your tech pack.
We do not charge for a quotation, and we do not need an exclusivity agreement to start.
Monoteks has manufactured garments since 1986. We moved into our own facility in 1990 and became a family company in 1994. Today our Istanbul headquarters and Malatya factory give us a combined capacity of 200,000 pieces per month.
The decisive factor in denim is where the washing happens. Most garment factories outsource it, which is why buyers see colour and hand-feel drift between batches, lose time in the back-and-forth, and cannot get a straight answer when something goes wrong. Our cutting, sewing, laser, laundry, pressing and packing are all in one company. The wash you sign off on the sample is reproduced from a recorded recipe in bulk.
You also get one point of contact who can answer for the whole process, in your time zone — Turkey overlaps with European working hours, so questions are resolved the same day rather than the next.
If your collection also includes woven or non-denim pieces, we can produce those on the same order — see womenswear manufacturing and private label manufacturing.
Wash defines a denim product as much as the fabric does. During sampling we trial several recipes and send you physical samples; the recipe you approve is documented step by step and applied with identical parameters in every batch.
Available processes: rinse, stone wash, enzyme wash, bleach, vintage and used effects, whiskering and honeycombs, destroy and repair details, resin for permanent creases, overdye and colour baths.
Our laser unit produces whiskering and abrasion without water or chemicals. Two things follow from that: brands with sustainability commitments can evidence a lower water footprint, and because the laser repeats a digital file exactly, piece-to-piece variation inside a batch effectively disappears.
Turkey is one of the world's major denim fabric producers, and the mills are within driving distance of our facilities. We send physical swatches of options that match your target landed cost.
Weight: 8-10 oz for lightweight and summer styles, 10-12 oz for standard all-season jeans, 12-14 oz for jackets and heavier workwear.
Stretch: rigid 100% cotton for authentic hand and mould-to-body wear; 1-2% elastane comfort stretch for everyday commercial fits; high and power stretch for skinny and jegging blocks, where we will want to discuss recovery values with you before committing.
Sustainable options: GOTS-certified organic cotton, GRS-certified recycled content, and Tencel/lyocell blends. If you intend to make a sustainability claim on the label, tell us early so the certification chain is set up correctly from the mill onward.
No tech pack? That is not a blocker. Many of the brands we work with started from a reference garment or a set of images and we developed the style with them.
The most common denim failure is measurement drift after washing. We run a shrinkage test on every incoming fabric batch and build the allowance into the pattern, so washed garments match the measurement chart you approved.
Inspection points: fabric intake, post-cutting panel measurements, in-line during sewing, colour and measurement comparison after wash, and a final visual check at pressing and packing. We are open to third-party final inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or your own QA) at your cost.
Social compliance: our facilities are audited under BSCI / Sedex-SMETA. Certified materials: we produce with GOTS and GRS certified fabrics where your programme requires it. If your buying team needs audit reports before opening a supplier account, ask and we will send what we hold.
300 pieces per style and colour. If a collection contains several styles we can be flexible on the total. We would rather start small with a brand that grows than turn away a first order.
Yes, and a large share of our customers began that way. If you do not yet have a tech pack, a reference garment or a set of images is enough for us to develop the style and quote.
Sampling normally takes 10-15 days, covering pattern development, proto sample and wash trials. Sample costs depend on complexity and are quoted up front; on confirmed bulk orders we credit them back.
Both. In full package we source fabric and trims and deliver finished goods. In CMT you supply materials and we provide cutting, sewing, washing and packing.
Yes. The approved recipe is recorded parameter by parameter and applied identically to every batch. Because the laundry is ours, there is no third party to introduce drift.
Predominantly the EU and UK, and we also ship further afield. Road freight to Europe takes days rather than the weeks of sea freight from Asia, and the Turkey-EU Customs Union provides a duty advantage on textiles into the EU. We prepare the export documentation.
Typically a deposit at order confirmation with the balance before shipment. Terms are negotiable with order size and the length of the relationship.
Please do. Our headquarters, pattern room and showroom are in Güngören, Istanbul and our factory is in Malatya. Tell us your dates and we will have relevant samples and swatches ready.
